Dear Friends,

A friend recently recommended the book, Busting Loose from the Money Game, by Robert Scheinfeld with a forward by Jack Canfield (Chicken Soup for the Soul Enterprises).  It certainly feels like I’m being guided on my journey by some unseen force because I keep gaining more and more insights from some incredible people and resources.  And all of this has occurred this year.  First I started the year off by studying A Course in Miracles, then Byron Katie, then hypnotherapy and neuro-emotional work, and the latter lead me to this book.

A more apt title from my viewpoint is Busting Loose from the Human Game.  The subtitle of the book is “Mind-Blowing Strategies for Changing the Rules of a Game You Can’t Win.”  This book just brings it all together for me.  The author warns you that as you read the first seven chapters you might feel like you’ve entered the Twilight Zone, and he’s right.  I felt pretty comfortable with the material because I am familiar with quantum physics and A Course in Miracles, which teaches primarily the same thing. Basically, Scheinfeld is saying that our world and everything in it is a hologram.

Per Michael Talbot’s words in his book, The Holographic Universe:  “There is evidence to suggest that our world and everything in it–from snowflakes to maple trees to falling stars and spinning electrons–are also only ghosts images, projections from a level of reality so beyond our own it is literally beyond both space and time.” Scientists continued to look for the deeper order that Talbot referred to above and they found a gigantic field of intelligent energy often called the Zero Point Field (the Field).

Per Scheinfeld, “The Field exists as energy with infinite potential that hasn’t been formed into anything yet.  However, from that infinite potential, literally anything can be formed.”  He goes on to define Consciousness as energy, “Mind,” “Source,” “Brahma,” “God,” and many other names, and lastly he defines Consciousness as the Real You, an Infinite Being. One question I’ve often asked myself is why would we as Infinite Beings whose natural state is infinite power, abundance, wisdom, joyfulness and peace have any desire to come to Earth and experience suffering such as abuse, sickness, poverty, struggle, starvation,
rape, murder and death?

Scheinfeld says that who we really are sees no horror in any of these experiences and is actually having an absolute blast playing The Human Game. Jerry and Esther Hicks explain how we forget who we really are, and we come here to remember and expand as we learn lessons.  That notion aligns with this book.   Scheinfeld explains that we come here to play a game, and why do we play any game?  For the thrill and challenge of it, and we must make it look absolutely REAL or we’ll get bored.

Don’t let the cover fool you.  It looks a little hokey and like it might be strictly about money, but it’s not.  It’s much more expansive and widely impacting than just the financial arena of our lives.  Check it out and judge for yourself.  He gives  very specific practices to follow to bust loose from our illusions and create miracles in our lives.  He asks you to test his theories, and that’s exactly what I’ve begun to do, and my Higher Self knows the Truth in his words.  Yes, the material is unsettling at first and it really does require a complete paradigm shift.  If the results that he promises are accurate, this temporary state of discomfort is well worth the effort.  Stay tuned!
